We offer a comprehensive package of benefits to employees, which depend on your location, and other eligibility requirements.

Benefits Highlights for all full-time regular employees:

  • Medical

    A full medical plan includes preventive care, urgent care, maternity care, mental health care, hospital coverage, prescription drug coverage, virtual visits and more. Both in-network and non-work options are available depending upon your home zip code in addition to a variety of plans to meet your medical and pharmacy needs.

  • Dental

    A comprehensive dental plan includes preventative care, as well as acute care and orthodontia coverage. Both in-network and non-work options are available depending upon your home zip code.

  • Vision

    A general vision care plan covers annual eye exams, as well as offering a discount on frames, lenses and contact lenses when using preferred providers.

  • Life Insurance

    Basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage is issued at no cost to employees. Employees are given an opportunity to apply for additional coverage.

  • Short Term and Long Term Disability

    Short Term and Long Term Disability coverage is provided at no cost to employees. In addition, employees are given an opportunity to purchase enhanced Long Term Disability coverage.

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

    Employees have the option to enroll in Health Care FSA and/or Dependent Care FSA plans. These plans provide an option to set aside money to pay for future expenses and may include a preloaded debit card.

Other benefits for full-time employees include paid holidays, vacation, personal holiday, sick time, and 24/7 Emergency Travel Assistance.

Plus, all full-time and part-time employees are eligible for:

  • 401(k) Plan

    All Torrid employees who meet eligibility requirements may invest in the Company 401(k) Plan. Employees may rollover a 401(k) balance from a previous employer at any time.

  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)

    Employees may purchase company stock at a discount after meeting eligibility requirements.

  • Store Bonus Program

    Employees based in store locations are eligible to participate in a monthly store bonus program. Store Management is eligible for cash bonuses; sales associates are eligible for vouchers to be redeemed for merchandise purchase.

  • Employee Discount*

    Employees are eligible for a 50% discount on apparel, accessories and shoes both in-store and on-line. Discounts are also available with our affiliated company, Hot Topic.

  • Tuition Assistance Program

    Employees may apply for Tuition Reimbursement for qualified courses and college degree programs after 6 months of service. Tuition and books are covered with some restrictions, and all covered fees are reimbursed after completing the qualified course with a satisfactory grade.

  • Entertainment Discount Tickets

    Access to discounted tickets for movies, theme parks, vacations and more.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)*

    The EAP offers employees and their families free confidential assistance for issues involving emotional well-being, finances, legal, addiction and recovery, education and more. Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, either by phone or through up to 3 in-person visits per year.
